The client needed an effective way to communicate the unique benefits of working remotely, emphasizing aspects like financial freedom, job security, and a desirable lifestyle. However, there was a lack of awareness among potential employees about the opportunities and lifestyle benefits available in these remote locations.
Proposal
We suggested a studio-level video strategy to bolster branding and EVP (Employee Value Proposition) for remote roles. The strategy included a highlight reel to spark initial interest and a more detailed mini-documentary to deepen engagement during the recruitment process. These videos featured real-life testimonials to authentically portray the lifestyle and benefits of remote living and working. We planned to utilize snippets from the documentary across social media to sustain engagement and direct viewers to the full content.

We developed a concise video to showcase diverse roles and desirable locations, coupled with a mini-documentary that highlighted the advantages of remote relocation. This was supported by character profiles and brief promotional clips tailored for a targeted YouTube advertising campaign. Our strategic approach also included job listing ads, social media retargeting campaigns, and targeted LinkedIn outreach campaigns.

The project was a resounding success, achieving all objectives and providing the client with a powerful tool for future recruitment. There are already discussions and plans being forged for a phase two of the project, taking a deeper look into these remote communities and engaging further with the community leaders, touching more of their remote retail locations.
